Dundee will play on Boxing Day this year after the club announced their Premiership clash with Celtic has been brought forward.

Neil McCann’s men were due to face the Glasgow club at 7.45pm on December 27 but it will now be played on the 26th at 12.30pm after BT Sport decided to show it live.

The Dark Blues’ home match with Aberdeen is also taking place a day earlier because of live coverage on BT Sport.

The Dons will visit Dens Park on Friday December 8 at 7.45pm for a game previously earmarked for 3pm the following day.

Also, Dundee’s trip to Hearts has been moved to Tuesday December 12 at 7.45pm, having originally been earmarked for kick-off 24 hours later.

This game is not due to be live on TV.
