Staff and customers of Marks and Spencer Dundee have raised thousands for Tayside Children with Cancer and Leukaemia, a charity that supports families affected by the disease.
TCCL was chosen as M&S Dundee’s charity of the year and £4,000 was raised through events in-store and in the community. Store manager Mary Power said: “We pride ourselves on our work within the community and supporting local causes.
“Cancer has a huge impact on so many of our lives, including some of our store team, so it felt right to help the charity continue its vital work.”
The funds will help to keep open the charity’s self-catering lodge in St Andrews, which is used as a “home away from home” for affected families.
