It’s officially Christmas time in the West End of Dundee.
Festive lights were switched on at Seabraes on Wednesday night.
Youngsters were able to meet Santa Claus, who handed out gifts, supported by Dundee Round Table.
Those who braved the wind and rain to see the illuminations go on were also treated to a fireworks display.
The switch-on was preceded by a concert in Dundee West Church, which featured a performance by local children.
West End councillor Fraser Macpherson thanked everyone who attended the event despite the poor weather.
He said: “It was a superb night and shows the great community spirit in the West End.
“Many thanks to everyone who came along and took part.
“We are now looking forward to the remainder of this year’s West End Christmas Fortnight, including many activities for local children and families.”
