The wet weather did not prevent crowds donning their finest fancy dress over the weekend at a variety of events across Tayside.
Although the Celebration in the Park at Baxter Park fell victim to the soggy conditions on health and safety grounds, there was still plenty of fun to be had on Saturday and Sunday.
In Monifieth, organisers of the annual Medieval Fair were not about to let the rain stop the show, having battled to secure funding for this year’s event.
And there was little the weather could do to stop the “undead” from strolling through the city for the Dundee Zombie walk, in aid of the Dundee Foodbank.
Thousands also turned out in milder conditions on Saturday, for the inaugural Perthshire Pride Festival.
