There was plenty of festive sparkle in Dundee’s West End and Monifieth this weekend.
Saturday marked the start of the West End Christmas Fortnight, which was launched with a children’s crafts event, followed by various activities.
The Dundee West Church concert and lights switch-on takes place at Seabraes on Wednesday.
In Monifieth, the Christmas lights switch-on took place yesterday at Reform Street car park.
Events featured carol singing, pipe and brass bands and, of course, a visit from Santa.
There was also a “quiet hour”, which allowed anyone with additional support needs to come along and see Father Christmas in his grotto without the overwhelming crowds, noises or lights.
