With her blonde hair, Hannah Clark is easily recognisable as she leads the St Johnstone Ladies’ forward line in the Scottish Women’s Premier League 2.
And, with her red-haired strike partner Ellie May Cowie also proving a handful for defenders, the Perth team has a potent strikeforce.
The teenage terrors, both 17, have just finished what was a fine season for both of them and now can’t wait for the next campaign to start.
Hannah’s form has resulted in her being selected for a Scotland U/19 camp and she is one of the youngest players to compete in the league, making her top team debut aged only 14.
“Hannah only started playing football five years ago and has made remarkable progress,” said St Johnstone Women’s head coach Jason McCrindle, who is full of praise for both girls.
“Ellie May is also doing well up front and, like Hannah, got in among the goals. She will also be vital for us next season.
“These two are, at times, playing against opponents twice as old as them but they are coping admirably with everything that comes their way.”
