PICTURES: More than 1,000 Dundee students awarded degrees in graduation ceremony

More than 1,000 students are embarking on a new chapter in their lives after the University of Dundee’s winter graduations held at the Caird Hall.

Students from the schools of education and social work, life sciences and science and engineering received their degrees this morning.

Graduates from the schools of humanities and social sciences and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design were due to receive their awards this afternoon.

Students from the schools of nursing and health sciences, dentistry and medicine, will graduate tomorrow morning.

Honorary degrees were awarded to scientist Professor Bob Michell, Scottish Rugby Union chief medical officer Dr James Robson and foreign correspondent Christina Lamb.
