Pupils, teachers and staff at Tayport Primary dressed up for World Book Day.
The youngsters really looked the part in a wide range of get-ups that included comic book supervillain Harley Quinn, unicorns, Snow White, Where’s Wally and characters from David Walliams’ books, Mr Stink, Billionaire Boy and Gangster Granny.
One of the pupils even crafted a lion’s head to go with their costume.
So that the costumes could be appreciated by a wider audience, the pupils modelled their creations on the catwalk for the rest of the school.
Two winners from each class were picked, with the prizes being a book token to be used at the school’s book fair.
There was also a reading carrousel, where the children got to pick three stories they wanted read to them and pupils from each year mixed together depending on the books they had chosen.
