Three Dundee students have done well in a regional industry competition, showcasing their skills in joinery, painting and carpentry.
The students at Dundee and Angus College competed in the regional qualifier of SkillBuild 2018, a multi-trade competition for construction trainees and apprentices run by the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board).
Patryk Iks, who works for Muir Construction, came third in new entrant carpentry.
Kate McCafferty, who is working for St Andrews University, came second in new entrant joinery.
And Craig Scott, who works for Bannerman Decorators, came third in the new entrant Painting and Decorating competition.
Group tutor Dean Smith said: “We are very proud to have a strong vocational focus, offering our students the tools and skills to progress through their chosen careers”.
