Dudhope Multicultural Centre is making Christmas present shopping even easier this year by holding its Saint Nicolas Market on December 8.
For the adults, there will be a massive selection of handmade creations from a number of local crafters, including tartan gifts, suncatchers, soft toys, jewellery, cookie jars and even preserves and chutneys which will delight any dinner guests this festive season.
There is also an opportunity to get a Henna tattoo and the chance to enter a raffle to win an exclusive gift from one of the many exhibitors.
Children have not been forgotten about either, with free kids activities, and if they are well behaved they may even get a sweet from Saint Nicolas.
It is hoped those who may not know about the saint’s history will come along to find out about his legend from Belgian and French members.
The centre is also home to a fantastic dancing group that has been performing traditional routines around the country – and next month the dancers will be back in Dundee.
They will be performing at the Fusion Festival in City Square on December 1, after taking part in Diwali festivals in Aberdeen this month.
The Dudhope Multicultural Centre was established in 1995 to promote benefits for all, but primarily for those in ethnic minorities in Dundee and surrounding areas.
