The Dundee Carers Centre has been gifted £1,000 by the Rotary Club of Dundee.
The charity, which supports unpaid carers and disabled people to enjoy the same quality of life as others, was given the money for its summer transition programme.
Benefiting from the donation will be young carers from Baldragon Academy and St Johns RC High School.
Sarah Boath, team manager for the Carer Support Service, said: “This very generous donation will allow young carers transitioning from P7 to first year the opportunity to get a break from their caring role, try out new activities and get to know staff and pupils from young carers groups in secondary schools, which will benefit them in their transition to high school.
“Most importantly, they will have fun.”
