Nearly 40 years after they all left school, a group of school mates are planning to catch up again.
Teresa Cerra and Shaun Ovenstone are organising a reunion for the students of Lawside R.C. Academy in 1979.
The school year had a reunion in 1999, 20 years after they left Lawside and after seeing a photo on the Dundee School Photographs Facebook group, Teresa decided it was time for another one.
“That was the last time really that we had seen one another,” Teresa said.
“We’re all turning 55 this year.”
Teresa, who moved to Evesham in Worcestershire after working at Strathmartine hospital for 12 years, said she had kept in touch in four or five of her class mates.
“I try to come up once a year and I always meet some from primary school,” she sad.
The reunion will be held at Alisons Bar and Function Suite on May 26, just five minutes walk from the site where Lawside once stood.
“We wanted it close by,” Teresa said
There were about 247 students in the year and Teresa, whose maiden name is De Franco, had been able to get in touch with 87 of them through a Facebook group she had set up in September but was hoping to get in touch with the rest of the students, wherever they were in the world.
Teresa said anyone interested in the reunion could contact her or Shaun Ovenstone on Facebook.
