Primary five pupils at Clepington Primary School are embarking on an exciting outdoor learning project as part of the John Muir Award.
It will include expressive arts, an environmental focus, film-making and an opportunity to present their sculptures in a gallery space.
The John Muir Award is a national environmental award that encourages people from all backgrounds to connect with, enjoy and care for wild places.
Clepington Primary head teacher Paula Chegall said: “We are looking forward to working with the John Muir Trust in order to continue to make learning meaningful and give our children a variety of opportunities in their own city.”
