Members of the public alongside Police Scotland Youth Volunteers took part in a litter pick at Broughty Ferry beach.
The clean up was organised by Broughty Ferry in Bloom, alongside Dundee City Council and the Police Scotland Youth Volunteers.
Councillor Craig Duncan said: “It was a good day.
“It went very well. I was very impressed with the youth volunteers.”
About 30 people turned up to help with the spring clean.
A range of items were found including a bright pink child’s toy car and a small bike as well as general rubbish.
There were roughly 15 full bags of rubbish collected by the volunteers.
The collection equipment was provided by Dundee City Council.
