Five-year-old Daisy Petrie from Ballumbie has raised a whopping £1,240 for Claverhouse Equestrian Centre.
The Seaview Primary School pupil decided to take matters into her own hands when she discovered that the centre was raising money to buy equipment to drain its paddocks.
Daisy’s gran, Jackie Milne, said: “Daisy has been going to the centre for a year now.
“When she learned they were fundraising she decided to help out and organised her own disco.
“She got loads of family and friends involved as well as people from the centre and held the disco at Broughty Ferry’s Gulistan Indian restaurant.
“She also held a raffle and auction and managed to raise well over £1,200.
“We are so proud of her and what she has managed to achieve.
“I don’t think she realised how much money it was until we actually showed it to her. She loves going along to the centre and has been learning loads of skills for looking after horses and ponies so it’s great she has been able to do her bit to fundraise for the centre.”
