A local historian will provide an insight into life on the buses in Dundee next month, in the second part of his talk on the city’s transport.
Derek Simpson will be discussing Dundee Corporation Buses in the 60s and 70s at Dundee Transport Museum on June 21.
Part of the Alan Clark Memorial Lectures series, the presentation will form the second stage of a talk Derek delivered at the museum last year.
A board trustee and treasurer of the museum in Market Mews, Derek has amassed a private archive of thousands of images of Dundee buses, many of which have never been publicly displayed before.
Tickets cost £5 and include refreshments plus early admission to the museum from 5.30pm.
Other museum events planned for summer include Emergency Vehicle Day on July 15 and a talk on electric vehicles by Euan McTurk on July 19.
