A music grant of £500 has been presented to the charity Music in Hospitals & Care.
Music Development, which administers the grants on behalf of Dundee City Council and Leisure and Culture Dundee, made the presentation at Turriff House care home in the city.
Music in Hospitals & Care has been delivering high-quality live musical group sessions for 70 years and is aiming to raise £70,000 to support live music delivery to those who are ill or residing in long-term care.
The sessions are delivered by professional musicians in care units in Scotland.
Last year, 1,544 sessions were given in Scottish healthcare settings, 40 of which were in the Dundee area.
