Riverside Church of Scotland is one of the most colourful in Tayside thanks to the dedicated and creative work of one of its congregation.
Edna Lilley is originally from the Philippines but has lived in Perth for 16 years.
She is married with a daughter aged 15 and son aged 13 and, in her spare time, she makes flowers out of carrier bags with delightful and colourful results.
Edna is a big fan of recycling and her creative work is inspiring others to follow her lead.
She helps run a community craft group at the church which meets on the first and third Thursday of every month from 1-3pm.
She said: “I encourage people to do what I do and that is not to discard cardboard, paper, bottles and carrier bags.
“You can make so many things out of these items and I am happy to make Riverside church more colourful.
“Our community craft days are letting other people see what they can do and anyone who wishes to join us is welcome.”
