A MUM and daughter duo have lopped off their locks in a bid to raise money for an Alzheimer’s charity — in memory of a family member who had the illness.
Lindsey Eppy and daughter Stacey Douglas, 26, took part in a sponsored head shave at Room 39 on Dura Street for Alzheimer Scotland.
Lindsey, 49, said the pair wanted to raise the money for the charity after experiencing the support they offer as her mum slowly succumbed to the disease.
The fundraiser raised over £1000 for the charity and the duo are set to present a cheque to them in the coming weeks.
Their hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust to be made into wigs for kids with cancer.
