The young ones at Ninewells Nursery have had another action-packed day and this time it was all for a fantastic cause – raising cash for the Children in Need appeal.
The kids took part in lots of fundraising activities including their very own bake sale, a nationwide duck race with competitors having fantastic names such as James Pond, Ducky McDuckface, Captain Quack Sparrow and Return of the Quack and a find Duggee activity.
They were also allowed to bring their most beloved teddy in to take part in a teddy bears’ picnic.
Manager Adelle Taylor said: “Everyone wore something spotty or Pudsey-themed for the day.
“Lots of parents and children baked cakes at home and handed them in to the nursery for our huge cake stall.
“We had tasty treats including Malteaser tray bakes, lots of different cupcakes, and coconut balls made by myself.
“We all had a teddy bears’ picnic with our favourite teddies too and the kids loved having their furry friends in nursery for the day.
“Some even gave the toys a shot on our outdoor swing in the garden.
“We managed to raise £170 which is a fantastic total for a great charity.
“All of the children and staff had amazing fun during the whole day too.”
