The 16th Perth (North Church) Boys’ Brigade’s annual fundraiser and coffee morning again proved to be a major success.
A total of £600 was raised and the cash will enable the boys to go on trips.
Kenny Simpson from the 16th said: “Once again we received great support from mums, dads, aunties, uncles, grannies and grandads and also folk from the congregation.
“To raise £600 in just a few hours is marvellous and we are grateful to those who attended for their generosity.
“The food, tablet and books on sale were all donated and we are also thankful for these donations.”
On the sporting front, the battalion has done well in the Perth and Kinross Boys’ Brigade Sports.
Sean Hull set a record by winning the senior boys’ badminton for the third year in a row.
The 16th also recorded triumphs in unihoc and dodgeball.
