Jacqueline Tierney, 54, and Grant Tierney, 33, both of St Clement Place, face driving charges.
Jacqueline Tierney denies that on October 4, at Dalmahoy Drive, she drove a car without insurance.
Trial date was fixed for March 1, with an intermediate diet on February 10.
Grant Tierney is accused of causing or permitting Jacqueline Tierney to use the vehicle without insurance.
His case was continued without plea until January 9.
Elsewhere, Philip Whyte, 27, of Mains Drive, was fined £400.
Whyte admitted that he used a car without insurance and without L plates or without a qualified driver while he was the holder of a provisional driving licence at Craigie Drive on September 27.
