The cabinet secretary for health and sport has praised a Dundee nursery on securing thousands of pounds of EU funding.
Jessie Porter Nursery in Kirkton secured £26,820 to develop its early years service on Harestane Road.
The funding will now be spent to develop and enhance their provision of early years’ service in the city.
Local MSP for Dundee City East, Shona Robison, visited the nursery to congratulate them on securing the European funding.
She said: “I was delighted to visit the nursery and learn about how the funding will help them.
“I would strongly encourage more local organisations to engage with Erasmus+ and apply for funding.
“At a time of so much uncertainty from the UK Government around Brexit, it is important to acknowledge that European Union funding is supporting local communities through organisations here in Dundee City East.”
