THE organiser of a new music festival planned for Dundee has said he would “welcome suggestions” from the public for the event’s name.
Craig Blyth, who is who is the driving force behind the event, earmarked for August 2017, said that while there were some ideas in mind, they would welcome public input.
He said: “There are some ideas floating around, and once we get conditional approval for the event we will look at that more closely.
“But, by all means we would welcome suggestions from the people of Dundee – it could very well give us some inspiration.”
Camperdown Park will play host to a two-day event next year if plans are approved by Dundee City Council.
A licensing application has now been lodged with the local authority, and if that’s successful, the event will take place on August 12 and 13 2017, running from 11am to 11pm on both days.
