Mark Pettigrew, 24, of Bowbridge Place, was fined £600 by Sheriff Alison McKay.

Pettigrew admitted that on Tuesday, at police HQ, Bell Street, he failed to provide two specimens of breath, having been driving in Macaulay Street.

The court heard that Pettigrew told police officers he would not provide breath tests due to a medical condition.

However, when police checked his medical records there was no such condition.
