Dundee man to stand trial over ‘child assault’ at city primary school

A man accused of assaulting a child at a Dundee primary school will stand trial at the city’s sheriff court in January.

The 49-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denies seizing the youngster by the body and lifting, shaking and throwing the child to the ground, causing injury, on December 1 last year.

Trial was fixed for January 22 with an intermediate diet on January 9.
