A 36-year-old man pushed his ex-partner and threw a bag at her.
Ross Ramsay, of Douglas Road, Dundee, was jailed for nine months after admitting one charge.
Ramsay admitted assaulting his former partner, Candice Henderson, at Elders Court, on November 7 last year.
He admitted pushing Ms Henderson on the body, causing her to fall to the ground, and throwing a bag or similar object at her, to her injury.
