A man who was killed in a horror crash on the A90 north of Dundee has been named by police.
Chris Gallacher, known locally as Chrissy, died after his Vauxhall Astra hit the back of an Asda lorry parked in a lay-by yesterday morning
The 25-year-old Dundonian was driving on his way to work in Aberdeen when the accident happened.
One lane of the road was closed for several hours while crash scene investigators carried out their work,
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a man who sadly died following a road traffic collision involving a Vauxhall Astra car and a Scania lorry on the A90 near Gallowfauld, Tealing, Angus yesterday has been named as 25-year-old Christopher Gallacher from Dundee.
“As with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. “
