Simon Robertson, 37, of Abernethy Road, was given 150 hours unpaid work and ordered to stay in his home between the hours of 7pm-7am for four months.

Robertson had previously admitted that he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner, shouted, swore and threatened Ashley O’Neil with violence and assaulted PCs David Young and Darren Smith by brandishing a baseball bat at them at Hoylake Place on October 5 last year.
