A man accused of taking and driving away a Reliant Robin three-wheeled car will face trial at Dundee Sheriff Court in April.

William Anderson, of Tulloch Court, Hilltown, denies committing the offence at Dudhope Street on January 11, while on bail.

Trial was fixed for April 20, with an intermediate diet on April 3. Thirty-three-year-old Anderson was granted bail.

Anderson’s co-accused, Steven Stewart, 36, of Soapwork Lane House, had his plea of not guilty to the same charge accepted by the Crown.

Stewart admitted two other charges.

He admitted that he possessed heroin at police headquarters, in Bell Street, on January 12, and breached a bail curfew condition by being outwith his bail address during the hours of 7pm-7am.

Sentence was deferred until February 12. Stewart was granted bail meantime.
