Youngsters from Dundee were put through their paces during Showcase the Street’s in-service day of dance.
Forty boys and girls aged between five and 14 took part in a range of activities throughout the day.
Showcase dance instructor Kayleigh Wilson said: “The kids learnt street routines, made new friends and had lots of fun.”
The youngsters also took part in dance battles where they showed off some of their favourite moves.
They also had the opportunity to take charge and choreograph their own routines in small groups.
Also holding their own in-service camp, spread over three days, was Stevie Campbell’s Football Academy, where 50 boys and girls aged four to 15 spent the day learning new skills and practising dribbling, passing, shooting and counter attacking.
At the camp were many pupils who already go to the football academy, as well as several new faces.
“All the kids showed great enthusiasm and had fantastic dedication throughout the day,” Kayleigh added.
“They had great fun playing football and getting to make new friends.”
Showcase’s next in-service day of dance is on May 7, and anyone interested in joining in should visit show casethestreet.co.uk.
