Dundee are still hopeful they can persuade Mark O’Hara to stay at the club but it looks increasingly likely he’ll be heading south this summer.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move to Scottish Premiership rivals but the Tele understands a number of English clubs are chasing his signature.
Motherwell had registered an interest back in January and, with his current contract coming to an end this summer, the online rumour mill had linked him with a switch to St Mirren.
There’s nothing in that, however, and a move to English League One is on the cards with his size and athleticism a key attribute for English scouts.
In two seasons at Dundee, where the former Kilmarnock right-back was converted to an attacking midfielder, O’Hara knocked in 11 goals in 71 appearances.
