An employment agency in Dundee is holding an event to try to help people with barriers to employment be supported in work.
The event next Thursday is for those working in the recruitment sector and aims to help them support people who face barriers such as a disability or health issue.
Ashley Brown, an employment manager with Remploy in the Nethergate, said: “From April, the new Fair Start Scotland service will aim to help at least 38,000 people to find employment, including those facing barriers to entering the labour market.
“Remploy is proud to be one of the providers of this programme, continuing in our mission to transform the lives of people in Scotland through fair work.
“We can achieve this only by working closely with employers, which is why we are hosting engagement events across Scotland.”
The session is aimed at diversity leads, HR and recruitment personnel, team leaders or those who will support new colleagues within the workplace.
Spaces are limited to two per organisation. For further information, contact Ashley at Remploy on 0300 456 8085.
