Dundee councillors are to be asked to approve plans to carry out improvement works at Lochee bypass.
Elaine Zwirlein, the council’s director of neighbourhood services, will recommend to councillors that they approve spending £120,000 on redesigning and on landscape improvements to improve sight lines for pedestrians and traffic on Coupar Angus Road.
She said: “This work will also enhance the area with additional tree planting.”
Ms Zwirlein said the proposals followed consultation with Lochee Regeneration Forum.
She will also be asking the council to approve spending £19,000 carrying out improvements at Clatto Park, including installing bollards, improving planted areas and installing a drainage system to alleviate flooding on footpaths.
She is also seeking approval to spend £48,000 on tree planting at Claverhouse Road.
