Dundee City Council’s neighbourhood services committee has approved almost £500,000 of improvement works.
Work has been planned for eight new parking spaces in both Huntly Place and Duncan Place.
The committee also approved repairs and replacement work on window and door surrounds in 547 council houses.
Also planned as part of the developments are wall repairs at Kennet Walk and footway and surfacing improvements at the Lilybank Housing Scheme.
Committee convener Councillor Kevin Cordell said: “These projects are important to make the city look and feel more attractive.
“This work will see us making a significant impact across the city.
“Hundreds of properties across the city will benefit by having additional parking spaces and improvement works done to their properties.”
