A retrospective planning application for a pub garden to be installed has been given the go-ahead by Dundee City Council.
The application, for the Ambassador on Clepington Road, sought permission to transform the yard into a beer garden area but stated that work has already been completed.
The response from the council stated that permission has been granted subject to conditions, which include that the beer garden will only operate from 11am Monday to Saturday and from 12.30pm on Sundays, closing at 9pm in September to June.
During July and August the garden is only to be open from 11am Monday to Saturday and 12.30pm on Sundays, closing at 10pm.
Condition two states that “at no time shall amplified music or vocals be provided/performed in the beer garden”.
The conditions are to protect residential amenity.
