Six local clubs and organisations are set to be granted charitable rates relief by Dundee City Council.
A report going before committee next week calls for almost £9,000 of rates to be sacrificed to benefit the local organisations.
Among those set to be granted relief is the Solas Centre for Public Christianity, which trains missionaries at Swan House in Technology Park.
Other Swan House tenants set to enjoy rates relief include the Positive Steps social partnership and Carse of Gowrie Men’s Shed.
In addition, the St Francis Amateur Boxing and Sporting Club, in Happyhillock Road, will enjoy relief, as will the West Ward Works, at Guthrie Street in the city centre.
Aberdeen-based community care and support group Cornerstone, which has an office at the Towngate Business Centre, Staffa Place, will also receive a combination of mandatory and discretionary relief.
