The former offices that are set to become flats in Meadowside.

An application to convert offices in Dundee City Centre into flats has been approved by the council.

The plan submitted to the council by LJR+H Architects on behalf of Brian Smith and Co is to transform disused offices in Meadowside into two two-bedroom flats.

The second and third floors at 21 Albert Square have been empty for several years.

The design statement submitted with the application says work will be carried out on the ceilings, floors and internal walls to upgrade them to achieve current standards of fire resistance and sound insulation.

Each flat will have two bedrooms as well as a living room, kitchen and bathroom.

The building looks on to The McManus.
