Dundee managing director John Nelms has admitted progress with the plan to build a new stadium has been considerably slower than expected.
But the Dark Blues remain firm in their determination to move to a new home adjacent to the city’s Camperdown Park.
Originally Dundee had hoped worked would be under way in the summer but the project remains at the planning stage.
“My timescale was six months ago to have the project in for review by the summer,” said Nelms.
“I’ll keep pushing and, hopefully, have it sooner than that.”
One stumbling block has been putting together the funding for a development that’s likely to cost at least £15 million overall.
“We have a public partnership when it comes to the financing and that process takes a long, long time” added Nelms.
