A charity which helps women who have been victims of sexual abuse is looking for volunteers.
Dundee and Angus Women’s Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre is planning a series of free women’s working lunches throughout the city to encourage people to get involved.
A spokeswoman said: “We are organising several free events to speak to women about volunteering.
“The events are open to all women and will be fun and informal.”
The first lunch will be held in Gowrie Care learning office on Hilltown, at 12.30pm on December 3, followed by dates at the Lochee Community Hub, Arthurstone Library, Ardler Complex and Douglas Community Centre in January.
The announcement comes ahead of 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, starting on Sunday, which is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The group’s Reclaim the Night march will also be held on December 1.
