The cafe is for anyone who cares for a family member or friend and is free to visit.

A launch event will take place on Wednesday June 6 from 11am-1pm when refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Carers are invited to come along for support, activities and information including advice on free health checks.

The centre’s short breaks team will give a talk explaining how taking short breaks can provide carers with more opportunity to enjoy life outside their role as a carer.

There will also be an exercise challenge called Chair Zumba.

Anyone wanting more information should contact Sharon on 07765 348740.

Dundee Carers Centre aims to improve the lives of unpaid carers and disabled people by providing information, support and ensuring the rights of carers and disabled people are upheld.
