Transport giant Stagecoach is considering a shake-up of services across Perth and Kinross.
Bosses have proposed axing the X8 service between Arbroath, Dundee and Perth — just a few months after it was introduced.
Stagecoach said the route was established to “promote passenger growth” but added: “The additional capacity has proved mostly unneeded and passenger numbers have not grown adequately to justify its continued provision.”
The 330 Blairingone to Dollar service could also be scrapped, while timetable changes could be made to several other routes including the X56 Perth to Edinburgh, the 57 Dundee-Blairgowrie-Perth and 8/9 North Muirton- Perth-Aviva.
Members of the public have been urged to comment on the proposals by Friday before a final decision is made.
Any changes will be introduced on May 14.
