Dundee have secured the summer signing of Queen of the South midfielder Josh Todd on a pre-contract deal.
The 24-year-old impressed for the Doonhamers in the Championship as well as in their Scottish Cup victory over the Dark Blues last month.
And Dens boss Jim McIntyre has moved quickly to secure the former St Mirren man on a two-year deal starting when his contract at Palmerston comes to an end this summer.
Todd has scored six goals in 30 matches this season.
Queens manager Gary Naysmith said: “I would like thank Josh for his efforts and contribution since joining the club.
“He is a very talented player who has been great for us, it is disappointing to lose someone of his quality but that’s football.
“We wouldn’t stand in the way of anyone who has the chance to move to a higher level, so he goes with our best wishes.
“He is still with us for a wee while yet and, hopefully, he can return from injury and play his part in helping us reach the play-offs.”
