Dundee and Angus College is working on new parking measures at its Kingsway campus.
The move by the college comes as residents on Gillburn Road and Old Glamis Road have seen a rise in students parking in the area.
Leisure centres Ryze and SoccerWorld have put up barriers, prohibiting free access to parking spaces.
A spokeswoman for Dundee and Angus College said: “Since SoccerWorld has opted to change our agreement and end free parking for students we have been looking at our own arrangements to see if we can better manage parking on the campus to increase capacity.
“We have been working with our neighbours to inform students of the best way to park without causing a nuisance to local residents.
“Work is also under way to increase the number of parking spaces available to students.”
