A man who admitted driving while disqualified for the second time was placed on a community payback order.
William Murray, 31, of Parkhead Place, was also disqualified for four years after he admitted driving through various streets in Dundee while disqualified and with no insurance on November 2 last year.
Dundee Sheriff Court heard he committed the offences in Baldovie Road, Drumgeith Road, Forties Road and Beryl Street.
Sheriff John Rafferty told Murray: “This is your second offence of driving while disqualified and breaching court orders often results in custodial sentences. In this case you pleaded guilty at the first opportunity and that’s a significant factor in convincing me a custodial sentence is not required.”
The sheriff ordered him to complete 200 hours of unpaid work.
