Staff from the V&A Dundee visited DC Thomson’s headquarters to celebrate the launch of the new world-class learning suit opening at the city museum.
The Thomson Learning Centre is a creative hub which will be at the centre of the museum’s day-to-day activities.
It includes two fully equipped design workshops, an auditorium which can accommodate more than 150 people and a design residency studio connecting visitors to exciting contemporary designers.
The centre will offer activities and workshops throughout the year for people of all ages and creative abilities.
They will be inspired by the Scottish Design Galleries and exhibitions as well as the unique architecture of V&A Dundee.
To officially launch the centre, members of the V&A’s events team hosted fun, interactive workshops for children aged five and up at DC Thomson’s Counting House on Meadowside.
Activities included drawing, arts and crafts and creating pop-up books.
