Some of the city’s top musicians have been presented with grants at the Caird Hall after making successful applications to the Dundee Musicians’ Award.
Established in 2008, the award aims to support the work of musicians by granting money towards the costs involved in creating new work in any genre, research and professional development.
Among those to benefit is Roseanne Reid, the daughter of Craig Reid from The Proclaimers, who will attend AmericanaFest 2019.
Other award winners include Oh Rio for the production and recording of a double A-side vinyl single.
The Dundee Musicians’ Award is organised by Leisure and Culture Dundee.
It is intended to support projects that look at creative development through collaborations, working with new partners or new producers.
Each of the award winners receives £500.
