A baby who was found dead in a Fife home has been named by police.
Violet-Ivy Turnbull was found dead at a property in Cupar’s Kinloss Crescent in the early hours of Saturday.
She was just three weeks old.
In a short statement released through the police, the family of Violet-Ivy said: “We as a family are devastated by the loss of our beautiful daughter, granddaughter and sister Violet-Ivy Turnbull.
“We wish to be left in private to mourn at this time”.
Police Scotland say her death is still being treated as unexplained.
Floral tributes were laid outside the property by shocked locals this week.
It’s believed the family had moved to the area just a few weeks before the tragedy.
