Dundee City Council is proposing to spend more than £90,000 upgrading a local playpark.
Members of the council’s neighbourhood services committee will be asked next week to approve the £94,000 refurbishment of the playpark at Lochee Park.
Director of neighbourhood services Elaine Zwirlein said: “It is proposed to upgrade this play facility as part of ongoing planned investment into our play areas.
“Refurbishment will include the redesign of the existing play area with additional new equipment, providing interest, also enhancing the area and providing a fully inclusive play environment for users.”
Council leader John Alexander said: “We’re committed to improving our parks, play equipment and providing new spaces for communities.
“We invest hundreds of thousands of pounds every year.”
