A politician has hit out after a Dundee bus shelter was left vandalised.
Residents near Nursery Road in Broughty Ferry were up in arms because a panel on a bus shelter on the street was smashed.
Now, Councillor Craig Duncan, who represents the Broughty Ferry ward, has called for something to be done to prevent other examples of this behaviour in the area.
Speaking on social media, Councillor Duncan said: “Residents contacted me today to express concern at the vandalism of a bus shelter in Nursery Road near Torridon Road.
“Coming in an area where vandalism is very unusual, this is a concerning incident. I have reported it.”
Councillor Duncan revealed he had also made inquiries into having the shelter repaired, adding: “I have asked council officers to have the bus shelter repaired as quickly as possible.”
A Dundee council spokeswoman said: “We are aware of the situation and will be taking the appropriate action.”
